I am pleased today to welcome Peter Budd to SharedBook, a manager that I believe embodies all of the characteristics of drive, energy, curiosity and ethics that I wrote about last month. Peter joined us on Monday in the role of head of product and user experience and his contributions have already been invaluable.
We talked to numerous people for this newly defined role at SharedBook. What amazed me was the variety of backgrounds and perspectives brought to the process. Some came with a definite process management perspective, others from a project management discipline, and still others from the creative, interactive agency perch. No one brought these elements together in a practical, straightforward way like Peter. Clearly his years at Hertz and Hertz.com gave him the means to understand rich applications like SharedBook’s.
