Today is June 1, which means that SharedBook has been an official member of the blogosphere for nearly two months. I’m happy to report that we’ve stuck to our original mission of posting here at least once a day, and been able to share some of the development, marketing and staffing challenges we’ve faced in our quest to free the Web! Our entire management team is committed to finding interesting, relevant and timely topics to discuss here, as are our development team leaders in Israel.
We wanted to get some posts behind us before we really started to talk about this blog – just to make sure things were going OK and everyone was firmly committed. We are starting to build a small audience of readers now (located around the world per our stats, which is pretty cool), and it seems like the right time to open the floor (airwaves/bandwidth?) for discussion. If you have any thoughts on topics you’d like to see us address pertaining to SharedBook, start-up life or the concept of reverse publishing in general, please let us know.
For those that are subscribing to our feed, or checking in from time to time, thank you for your interest. To any first-time readers, we hope you like what you see and will stick around. With some 14 billion pages of content available online today and growing (stay tuned, we actually have a new prized statistic, but the source hasn't been verified yet), it should be an interesting journey!
