A lot has been said about today’s communications technology – does 24 hour access give us more or less time to think, to react, to respond? How is it possible to think intelligently when an immediate answer is expected? Now extend this to managing a business in a Web 2.0 world. Instead of the traditional media outlets, there are now thousands of bloggers and customers and vendors and investors, all with an idea and a different take on your business. E-mail boxes are filled with updates and postings that announce the latest theory or widget. Who do you listen to? What do you pay attention to? It’s not possible to satisfy everyone, nor does one need to. Stay focused. Believe in your vision.
